Himalayan salt lamps are made from rock salt (halite) mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan. The salt often has a pinkish tint due to trace minerals. It is believed that when salt lamps are heated by a light mechanism installed in the center of the rock, they release negative ions which promote healthy cell regeneration in the body.  Negative ions are mood enhancers and increases energy levels with zero side effects.

 

Setup:

Remove from the package and plug into standard AC electrical outlet.  Most effecient when placed near place of rest.  Bulbs usually last for long periods of time so its best to keep the the light on, especially when resting.
